Tussar silk produced by the tribes of Chhatisgarh and is cultivated from silkworms after they leave the cocoon. This beautiful fabric is a handloom weave and a blend of Tussar and cotton. Tussar silk is valued for its rich texture and natural deep gold color. The Tussar yarn is kindled and colored using various techniques and then is weaved into patterns using different types of handloom knots. This exotic fabric offering is treasured across the globe

Size & Fit: 5.5+ m long & 112 cm wide saree. 80+ cm unstitched blouse piece.

 

Motif: The Pallu of sari has an elaborate artwork displaying the local culture of the region and festivities in a woven design. Almost a framable scenery, Pallu depicts a village harvest celebration festivities and has a weave of Tusser threads dyed in various colors to bring alive all elements. Sazi has a subtle zari on the borders.
